ELEGEBEJI AT DAY 3 OF THE SPECIAL SESSION ON NATIONAL SECURITY
HON. DR. PRINCESS ADESOLA AYOOLA-ELEGEBEJI AT DAY 3 OF THE SPECIAL SESSION ON NATIONAL SECURITY
Yesterday, Hon. Dr. Princess Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji joined other Members of the House during Day 3 of the Special Session on National Security.
Her contribution aligned with the major concerns raised throughout the session. The discussions focused on three urgent points:
1. Nigeria’s security threats are changing at a fast pace, and the country must respond with better coordination and a more proactive national strategy.
2. Security management needs to be closer to the people, with stronger local structures, early warning systems, and faster justice processes that deter criminal activities.
3. There is rising concern about internal compromise within security operations. Members called for tighter intelligence and firm sanctions for anyone supporting criminal networks.
She also stressed that stronger oversight, more effective institutions, and renewed public confidence must guide all security reforms.
Hon. Dr. Princess Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji restated her support for every national effort aimed at improving safety, restoring order, and protecting lives and property in every part of the country.
