ELEGBEJI CELEBRATES THE GOLDEN JUBILEE OF OGUN STATE
HON. DR. PRINCESS ADESOLA AYOOLA-ELEGBEJI CELEBRATES THE GOLDEN JUBILEE OF OGUN STATE
As Ogun State marks the historic 50th anniversary of its creation, I join millions of proud sons and daughters of our dear Gateway State in heartfelt celebration.
This Golden Jubilee, commemorating the visionary decision of February 3, 1976, offers an opportunity to honour our founding fathers and mothers. Their foresight, courage and commitment laid the foundation for a state that has grown into a symbol of progress, industry and unity in Nigeria.
I also commend the successive leaders of our state, including military administrators, civilian governors, legislators, traditional rulers and community stakeholders. Over the decades, their collective efforts have sustained peace, harmony and shared development among our diverse people.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that the journey continues.
This moment calls for renewed commitment to inclusive growth, youth empowerment, women development and sustainable progress across all senatorial districts and local governments of Ogun State.
At 50, Ogun State stands proud of its heritage, confident in its potential and prepared for greater achievements in the years ahead.
Happy Golden Jubilee to the good people of Ogun State.
Ọmọ Ogun Ìṣẹ̀yà!
Long live Ogun State.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
